Based on the new RP Cryo adhesive, UPM Raflatac has launched a range of label materials for cryopreservation conditions down to -196 °C. These products are intended to provide a reliable solution to safeguard research, forensic investigation and patient safety.

UPM Raflatac designed these labels  for bonding on PP plastic tubes and containers. RP Cryo label materials withstand long-term storage in vapor phase and liquid nitrogen, and they can tolerate multiple freeze-thaw cycles without cracking, peeling or degrading.

The filmic label faces are suitable for printing by thermal transfer, supporting compact and reliable specimen identification and automated samples management.
